Shipping costs

  • Orders over €50 ship free.

  • For orders under €50, shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Shipping & delivery

  1. Orders placed and paid for before 16:00 on working days are shipped the same day. Iron Sign Shop dispatches orders straight away; in most cases delivery takes place the next working day.

  2. Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier and on circumstances beyond our control.

Stock availability

Current stock is shown for every product, so there are no unexpected surprises. If, in rare cases, the actual stock differs from what the webshop shows, we will contact you as soon as possible to find a suitable solution.

Definitions

  • Iron Sign Shop: Iron Sign Shop, established in Biezenmortel, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK number 89731948.

  • Customer: the party entering into an agreement with Iron Sign Shop.

  • Parties: Iron Sign Shop and the customer together.

  • Consumer: a customer acting as a private individual and not in the course of a profession or business.

Applicability of these delivery terms

  • These delivery terms apply to all offers, orders, agreements and deliveries of products and services by or on behalf of Iron Sign Shop.

  • Deviations from these terms are valid only if expressly agreed in writing.

  • The applicability of any additional or differing terms of the customer or of third parties is expressly rejected.

Right of suspension

Unless the customer is a consumer, the customer waives the right to suspend performance of any obligation arising from this agreement.

Retention of title

  1. All products delivered remain the property of Iron Sign Shop until the customer has met all payment obligations.

  2. For as long as title has not passed, Iron Sign Shop may reclaim the products delivered at any time.

  3. Before title has passed, the customer may not pledge, resell, dispose of or otherwise encumber the products.

  4. If Iron Sign Shop invokes its retention of title, the agreement is deemed rescinded and Iron Sign Shop is entitled to claim damages, lost profit and interest.

Delivery

  • Delivery takes place while stocks last.

  • Delivery is made from Iron Sign Shop, unless agreed otherwise.

  • Online orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer.

  • If payment is not made, or not made on time, Iron Sign Shop may suspend its obligations until payment has been received.

  • In the event of late payment, the customer cannot hold Iron Sign Shop liable for delayed delivery.

Delivery times

  • Delivery times stated by Iron Sign Shop are indicative and give the customer no right to damages or rescission, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

  • The delivery period starts once the customer has completed the order process and received an order confirmation.

  • Exceeding the delivery period gives the customer no right to damages or rescission, unless Iron Sign Shop fails to deliver within 14 days of a written notice of default.

Actual delivery

The customer must ensure that delivery of the products ordered can take place without delay.

Passing of risk

The risk of loss, damage or reduction in value passes to the customer at the moment the products are delivered to the customer or brought within the customer's control.

Transport costs

Transport costs are borne by the customer, unless agreed otherwise.

Packaging and transport damage

  1. If the packaging of a delivered product has been opened or damaged, the customer must have the carrier note this before accepting the delivery.

  2. If the customer arranges transport themselves, any visible damage must be reported to Iron Sign Shop before transport.

  3. Failure to do so may release Iron Sign Shop from liability for the damage.

Force majeure

  • Iron Sign Shop is not liable for failures or delays in performance caused by circumstances beyond its control, as described in Article 6:75 of the Dutch Civil Code.

  • Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: natural disasters, war, riots, strikes, government measures, failures by suppliers, transport disruptions, power failures, internet outages, extreme weather conditions and other unforeseen events.

  • Obligations are suspended for the duration of the force majeure. If it lasts longer than 30 calendar days, either party may rescind the agreement in writing.

  • Iron Sign Shop is not liable for any loss resulting from force majeure.

Amendments to the agreement

If changes prove necessary after the agreement has been concluded, the parties will amend the agreement by mutual consultation.

Amendments to these delivery terms

  1. Iron Sign Shop may amend these delivery terms at any time.

  2. Changes of minor importance may take effect immediately.

  3. Major substantive changes will, where reasonably possible, be communicated in advance.

  4. Consumers are entitled to terminate the agreement in the event of a material change.

Transfer of rights

The customer's rights arising from an agreement may not be transferred to third parties without the prior written consent of Iron Sign Shop. This provision has effect under property law as referred to in Article 3:83(2) of the Dutch Civil Code.

Invalidity

If any provision of these delivery terms proves to be void or non-binding, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The void provision will be replaced by one that comes as close as possible to the original intention.

Applicable law and competent court

  • All agreements and these delivery terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

  • Disputes will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the district where Iron Sign Shop is established, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Right of withdrawal (returns)

  • You have the right to cancel your order up to 30 days after receipt, without giving reasons. After cancelling, you have a further 30 days to send the product back.

  • You will then be refunded the full order amount including the original shipping costs. Return shipping is at your own expense and is estimated at around €7.25 per parcel (check your carrier's website for exact rates).

  • Returned products must be complete, unused where reasonably possible, and in their original condition and packaging. Any reduction in value caused by use going beyond what is needed to assess the product may be deducted from the refund.

  • Refunds are processed within 30 days of your return being registered, provided the product has been received in good order.
